All The Lost Souls MVI DVD + Bonus CD - Straight from the promo sticker on the MVI (Music Video Interactive) Region Free DVD + Bonus CD James Blunt All The Lost Souls package -- The MVI DVD Contains:-The Full Album-Portable Music Files-Video Content-Interactive FeaturesPC/MAC Compatible*Package also contains bonus CDMVI Includes: -1973 Video-Exclusive 30 Minute Interview-Return To Kosovo Trailer-Wallpaper/Icons-Ringtones-Lyrics-Photo Gallery-And Other Bonus Material!A few of my own notes, based on this purchase --First of all, I cannot find the portable music files that this MVI claims on the sticker. Perhaps I m missing it somewhere, but I cannot find them. It s no big deal anyway, since the bonus CD is simply just the CD version of the album, which is a nice bonus for those people who wish to listen to the album on a CD player. Also, having the CD gives one the ability to rip portable music files anyway. The music presented on the MVI DVD is high quality stereo, not 5.1 audio as originally advertised. Fortunately, the MVI allows one to scroll through the different menus while listening to the music. Registering this MVI disc via e-mail address and name will give access to an exclusive extra of Annie [Live From The Garden Shed], a track which appears as a b-side on international pressings of the 1973 single. I must note, however, that accessing this extra live cut of Annie was a bit tricky at first. I was led to believe that my registration would be activated through my e-mail. That was not the case, so make sure that the registration is being activated immediately by clicking the appropriate registration tab. The live cut of Annie presented here is a real special extra, since I think it s a highlight song on the album. It s stunning in both it s original version and it s live cut, which is simply a quiet acoustic version without any audience backing. By registering this MVI one can receive updated information and bonus material with an Internet connection. Overall, I highly recommend this MVI release of All The Lost Souls over just the regular CD edition. The interview, bonus features, and live track are a nice addition to the otherwise standard audio CD. My only complaint is the lack of 5.1 audio, which I was really looking foward to with this release. Still, I cannot complain too much with all these features. I m looking forward to more MVI releases!!!
