He must be admired. - I own a lot of concerts on Blu-ray, I m such a fan of the live performance - it s quite a thrill, and this concert doesn t disappoint. Let me preface by saying I am younger and did not grow up with Elton John s music, but totally appreciate him as an artist and his stage presence is top notch. The most hilarious aspect of this concert had to be seeing all the famous faces in the audience from President Bill Clinton to Eric McCormack. The audio is superb to say the least. The video is of high quality, but the camera angles leave much to desire to say the least. I didn t take any stars off due to this, because Elton John wasn t jumping all over the stage, it s mostly him rested behind the piano, more in control. I was impressed to see an artist for his tenure to play so many songs with equal enthusiasm throughout and the crowd loved it. I only knew a few songs from the concert, but now like them all equally due to this wonderful production. A must buy for fans and those looking for additions to concert collections.

An Audio Disappointment - I have been an Elton fan for several decades now. So, when I purchased a BluRay player recently I also purchased this disk. Well, after playing this concert for about an hour I thought it sounded a little flat. So I checked the audio - stereo. Hmmm . . . I went to the disk set up and found, much to my chagrin, that my only two choices for audio were PCM stereo or PCM 5.1. I had never heard of PCM. And as it turns out, my AV system does not handle PCM 5.1 and defaults to stereo. This concert is very flat without the 5.1 audio, which should be available. Were the manufacturers just too cheap to pay the licensing fees for Dolby or DTS? If not, what were they thinking? As for the video, it looked quite good. But, boy is Elton flat. I found the performance to be very uninspiring - no energy, just going through the motions. And far too many fast edits. I like watching the musicians for more than 2 or 3 seconds at a time.I would not recommend this disk to anyone other than a true, hardcored, dyed in the wool Elton fan. For we mere mortals, this concert was boring.

The Best Blue Ray Concert Available - If your an Elton fan as I am and enjoy the hits from early Elton as I do, then don t hesitate to buy this blue ray. I thought it was going to be good when I bought it, but then I was blown away. That man can still rock. I only wish I could have seen it live!!!!!!!!

Elton 60 Live - Best career retrospective of Elton. He is in fair voice. He no longer attempts the high notes. I wish the voice in his Barcelona concert were here. But the Barcelona concert leaves out some major songs. This has everthing. The vintage videos give you Elton in prime voice though only fair to good sound.

Pretty boring for me! - It s a boring DVD from the beginning to the end. Actually, I could not even finish the DVD, and that shows how boring it is. A big disappointment.
