James Blun - Did not realize when I made this purchase that there were only a couple of songs on this cd. For a few more bucks, I could have purchased his new cd at the store.
Don t worry, Eric C. Erickson - I know for a fact that James Blunt has absolutely no singing talent what so ever either. Being able to sing the right notes doesn t cut it. If that was the case to make a good singer, than the lead singer of Rancid would be an amazing singer. The music and the lyrics, I think are pretty good. But someone needs to redo James Blunt s music... someone who can actually sing. Because this guy s voice sounds like a cat being raped by a cow whilst in a blender.
You re Beautiful CD by James Blunt - I was looking for an album not a very costly single. Do love the song though.
This song is quite tolerable. Probably one of four of His tunes are. 3.6 stars - I like James Blunt enough to write a review about His music. Most of it is very thought out and showcases at least decent songwriting. For He is just that: a singer-songwriter. And I highly respect that.However, there are times when His music comes off as pointless, mind-numbing and overbearingly annoying. >_

There are reasons why some UK stations don t play it...because hapless listeners complain.You re Beautiful is the standard love ballad with the opening my life is beautiful,my life is pure and there are lyrics about smiling angels&moments that endure the test of time. Blunt bleats&whines his whole way through. The chorus of You re beautiful,you re beautiful is simply unbearable.Thankfully,Blunt has better songs like the disco-tinged 1973 and the tearjerker Goodbye my lover. Still,You re Beautiful works for driving away unwanted solicitors.It s one of the most annoying pop songs ever.
